Erin Hammond's Diorama

America was founded by men and women who set off in search of religious freedom. They formed the United States as a land for FREE men. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were said to be our birth rights, that no government could take away from us.
We are all aware of the past struggles we've encountered for African-American rights and woman's rights. Now we must work on Gay rights.
Why should someone have the right to vote on who someone else marries? Why should they not receive the same benefits?
My diorama represents the past struggles, as well as the current.

"Give to every human being every right that you claim yourself."

Gay Marriage?

Same-sex marriage (also referred to as gay marriage) is a term for a governmentally, or socially, recognized marriage between two people of the same sex. Same-sex marriage and gay marriage are the most common terms used in news media and politics. Other terms used are included below.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For my issue in the world that I feel strongly about, it would be Gay Marriage? Thus I have contructed a diorama of a simple gay wedding between two male. Of course at a church scene, we were asked to use 2d and 3d effect (2 meaning flat and 3d meaning subject has depth). You will see in my Diorama had I have implemented these two aspects. The scenario goes like this, two gay males named James and Edward, are getting married, happy as can be right, but you will see a not so happy camper in the scene wishing to end this marriage? Stating, " Sodomy is a Sin" A simple wedding is stop or hated on due to protest and non-acceptance.
My Ideas and Opinions

I feel that is two females or two males are truely happy and want to get married they should, and no has the right to distrub their happy. I believe that it should be allowed in the court and church system around the world for gays to marry. God said to treat thy neighborhoods with love and respect. A.K.A the same way you would like to be treated. Just because you don't think its right you should hate, that is not what MLK, Ghandi, and others thought, violence and hate, is not the way but through peace we all can co-exist together.

If two gay people (female or male) are happy together they should marry and be happy and have right just like anyone else, we all are human and entitled to certain rights. Look at hetrosexual couples who aren't so happy together yet have the rights to marry, but later end in divorce and such. Look at the high rate in divorce (mostly hetrosexuals, am I right, exactly.) So my diorama gives a little in-sight to a gay marriage wedding, I feel that people shouldn't hate on what they do not clear know nor understand and to treat others with respect and happiness, that is the main goal in my diorama and in life, happiness should be given to all, neither hetro or homo (sexuals).

P.S. I work hard on this diorama so a feedback would nice, on my thoughts and diorama pictures.
